I like it as well. I just wanted to get a short clarification: someone mentioned in the battle reports that Supa Stompas get a bonus to rally with the Extra Armor bitz. Mob rule is *more than* 5, so they wouldn't get it with DC5, right? Or am I missing a special rule? (In the reference, Nobz are mis...

Hi,

I never used the Killkrooza but was wondering: AFAIK it doesn't have a transport capacity for Landas in the tournament pack rules. Is that an error? Otherwise you would need a Battlekrooza (with the punishing slow&steady) to planetfall anything, as strange as that would be.

I am actually in favor of a long range gun, e.g. Deth Kannon. I strongly oppose this notion of having to force players to play "orky". If an ork mek wants to build a bigger gun - which then happens to shoot further - I don't consider that unorky. I agree that there are too many long range ...

Hi, thank you for your effort with this list! Some time ago I tried to patch together my own list just for fun. It didn't get far and was never intended to be anything official, but maybe you can get some inspirations from it. What's missing in the pdf are the unit stats, but they should be clear ex...

Kadeton, about the stompa/supa stompa question: keep in mind that the 40k "Stompa" is a quite recent addition - at least compared to the older fluff existing before - and is really more like a Supa-Stompa or Mekboy-Gargant. Before its release, Stompas in 40k were usually played as scratch-...

I don't agree wholeheartedly that everything is fully fine with the ork lists, AFAIK there was quite some discussion on gun wagons, fortresses, and allowing a dedicated Kommandoz mob à la Stormboy mob. I myself am strongly in favor of making Stompas (one of my favorite mobs in the main list) a bit m...

Is it really correct that the additional power fields don't replace a weapon anymore? That's a rather drastic change as it basically means "unupgraded" gargants start with 4-12 additional power fields "for free". That might make some up the upgrade weapon options quite uninterest...

Did you opponent have any thoughts on any aspects of the list? I will ask him for more details, but I think he was mostly afraid of the twin Mega-Lobba. But that is to be expected for guard with large blobs of unarmoured infantry ;) I've used the Rok half a dozen times to drop in Loota Warbands upg...

Hi, here are some of my thoughts about the changes in the new version: Hammerheads: From a fluff perspective - and looking at the Railhead in isolation - I would prefer Lance (and no, "it's Eldar" is IMHO not a valid argument: it is simply using an established rule to mimic the game effect...

It's 200 pts for an empty rok, 375 for a rok with the cheapest formation on board, or more for a more durable formation (in this game 200 + 295).

I think I made a mistake there, I am fairly sure the Warlord destroyed the Supa Stompa, so it probably were the Shadowswords who killed the Great Gargant. Sorry for a bit fuzzy memory, edited in the post above. I didn't want to directly engage with the Rok, as bad scatter could easily have left me o...

Last week I managed to get a game with the gargants against Steel Legion. I decided to post my thoughts about the game here, although it was a fairly uneven matchup. And sorry, no pictures (also no notes to speak of, so all out of my head and hence maybe slightly inaccurate at some points...) My lis...

I for one like the centurions - big armour, lots of dakka, what's not to like ;) As they are such a new addition I don't think there is too much fluff about them, just IIRC that it is a special armour for devastators, so not for "full" (tactical) marines. In 40k Centurions are just a singl...
