Zap and Chris, Thanks for the advice, I think I am going to check out NetEpic.  Before I even heard of this forum, I had checked out the Epic Armageddon rules from GW, but they weren't my cup of tea.  Granted, lots of people like them, but lots of people like 40K, and I am not one of them....

It has been mentioned already, but I have to agree with all the other Stunties.  C'mon, an absolutely sick break point (like 17 stands out of 22) and unmatched firepower (Goliath Mega cannon company card for only 450) could pound even the IG (especially the IG if they tried to march their SLOW ...

I loved Final Liberation as it was a great bridge between the SM/TL rules set (and the sprites were modeled after the range of minis at the time) but used Epic 40,000-ish army building.  Plus, tell me it wasn't cool to hear the infantry guys scream and go squishy when you used the old "soldier se...
