I had 'Blood Bath at Ork's Drift' and 'Terror of the Lichemaster'. Sadly my finances in no way stretched to getting all the prescribed models for each. I seem to recall at least one button badge was involved in these sets somewhere. Hasn't Warhammer came a long way? I do think it's much better than ...

If I cause any number of critical hits to a War Engine, do these criticals have a chance of causing more critical hits (and so on)? I am going to play as if they can't otherwise one very lucky hit could do huge amounts of damage.

Well if anyone has any Typhoon missile pods going spare let me know. It looks like I need 4 pairs. Otherwise it's LOTS of cocktail sticks getting their ends chopped off and glued on. (MY EYES, MY EYES!)

Just phoned them, apparently they only do the normal Land Speeder. Oh well, out with the plasticard.

Looking on GW's Specialist Games site, I can find miniatures for normal Land Speeders but not Typhoon or Tornado variants. Does anyone know if they are/have been available? The Tornado is a fairly simple weapons swap so could be managed with some plastic rod, etc., but if I need to go making Typhoon...

I like GlynG: I would prefer to play an army with the actual flavour of the forces I am playing, complete with Tactical, Devastator, Assault squads etc. If options like using Thunderhawks to drop units in turn 1 are so common and successful with E:A players then obviously I haven't scoured the army ...
