Hi guys/gals, has it been a year already??, I like the idea of a fleet section, and would support the flexible points option. Anyways time to get those ships painted and any other mad conversions I can think of. I've been playing warmachine for the last year so got a bit side tracked from BFG so hav...

Cool, thats what I'll go for. I'll attach them tomorrow. Cheers Vaaish. Regarding the design..it wasnt meant to be, it does have the weapon battries from the duntless crusier. But was just running off the design of a SC, just a more beefy one. To be honest I just stuck the bit together and hoped for...

Thanks both, I think it could do with some extra back bulk, but not sure what to use. I got 2 left over Battlebarge side fins, I might try sticking those to the wings. Quick update. I stuck these on for show with blutack, to see what it would look like. Keeping in mind I'll probably beef up the sect...

Hello me again, I made this SC just after making the BB. Thought I'd beef it up a little with left over bits and the Sc I ordered at the same time as the other parts for the BB. Weapons loadout 3-4 bombardment cannons(depending on how it trys out on the battle map) 2 lance turrets (ssshhhh BH I know...

I could agrue you on that BH, regarding the uber gun, could say its just a super dooper uber lance cannon. But thats just making excuses.

And yeah, I know the restriction with lances, but as said and as you know its all just fun. Besides I hate losing the battle  :vD

Lol....was wanting it to be bigger but wasnt really an option without 1.running out of parts and 2.making a bigger dent in my wallet than I already did for this project. Also any bigger it would seriously limit its movement on the board. Ok, here comes the cheeseiest list of weapons you've might of ...

Ok, I had this monster on the drawing board for nearly 2 months before finally getting the parts from ebay and GW. In which time I had a pretty good idea of how I wanted this thing to look, and which to be honest it almost looks exactly like the quick sketch I had done. Took about a week and half on...

Nice ship, and intresting read on the fluff. I like the fluff as its not all win win win, it got a battering as well. I'll have to post up my recent re-make of the Black Templars Eternal Crusader battle-barge , will have to write some fluff up as well, but never been good at that really.

Yup times nearly up, and I'm kicking myslef for not putting my Firestorm escourts on last night. As I read the rules this morning at work and see its closing at 4pm, just an hour and a half before I get home.

Anyways best of luck to everyone.

@G.F, thanks for comment. This is 1 of 3 BFG Nids I've done, the others are just 2 little drone escourts that I worked on inbetween working on this Hive ship. I would recommend milliput rather than a clay you have to bake. It sets like rock and add some water can be very manageable whilst modelling....

Some more pics of my Hive ship. From tusks to tail its as long as a I.N battleship, even longer if you include the hooks and feeder mouths.

And size compare.
