Quote: (arkturas @ Dec. 30 2009, 18:35 ) The only point that comes to mind is to consider the Tyranid 9.2.1 list version of the Genestealer. As you have 1st Gen Hybrids mixed in then they would be strictly worse Tyranid 9.2.1 Genestealer Inf/20cm/6+/4+/- Slashing Claws/(Base Contact)/Assault We... |

I really need to fix the format. I Thought it survived the copy and paste intact, but I guess not.

This is my work so far. I have taken the only list we have available, from epic40k.uk and gave it an update of sorts. From reading the current incarnation I felt that it was sort of "inflated". ie. All the different APC's, and different chimera versions etc. The only Follower sphere I have down on p... |

massive battle.
I'm getting my squats ready to roll.
Just won 2 large squat bids on ebay. Should have enough for a grand army to rival yours.
Next thing is to find a cyclops that isn't like $80 heh. |

Any kind of fortress or castle needs to have a rancor pit trap. I think you dropped the ball on that aspect. |

I think its all about manipulation and control. Most of the minions being controlled, outside of the brood brothers and Hybrids usually have no idea whats going on. Perhaps they think they are part of a coup against the planetary government or the part of a civil war in support of their chosen leade... |

yip. In the fluff, the cult attracts all sorts of transients, abhumans, chaos worshippers etc. Most likely leading them on as to their true purpose and souce of worship. I wouldn't grant them access to a full array of daemon engines etc, but I think there would be enough units to preserve the integr... |

An idea I was tinkering with on paper, was the concept of "spheres of influence", instead of "waves" or how far along the cult is in its making. So having the MAIN CULT sphere of influence, A Cultist Demonologist and a Cult Governor. The main cult sphere gives you access to all the normal troop type... |

Well if we're talking about multiple stages of infection, why not simply lock out certain upgrades and support options, giving each stage an incentive or "bonus" over the other. IF at stage 3 you get all the stuff at stage 1 & 2....no real point to ever play the early stages of uprising. It could be... |

maybe giving some larger vehicles a negative for taking a certain action. ie. moving at the double or assaults. Make a roll to see if it breaks down and is useless for the rest of the battle? Just an idea to bring out the rag tag feel of a scrounging menace. The cult making damaged or vehicles put i... |
