Quote Something he did say to me was that there wasn't much time allocated to Epic stuff, which is a pity. Unfortunately, that is pretty much the deal currently. No Epic work is being actively commissioned by Tony, partly I suspect due to the lack of any serious marketting by GW. Most of the Epic mo...

Quote BTW: With FW's habit of upsizing their flyers compared to the SG versions, does anybody know how these compare to the SG Nightwings in size? I wouldn't so much describe it as a habit as such. Forgeworld take the trouble to follow scale and accurately scale down at 1:5 from their 40K counterpar...

Interesting to note nobody has picked up the one interesting fact about the FW Nightwings (shame on you Jimbo, you've normally the eyes of a hawk!). The 'swing wings' are fully functional and sweep from forward to the back position and back again quite smoothly Very typical of Will's attention to de...

Quote Didnt work though.... Project scrapped. No, the idea is sound, it just needs a few tweeks to work with the flat detail of the Rhino Paul. I wouldn't give up just on the basis of that one tester if you like the way the rest of the DG are shaping up. Your general approach is good and I'm convinc...

Hehe, it wasn't a dig, I knew what you meant ? The others will look a little darker with more feathered highlighting, much like the FW Wave Serpents I posted recently ? I agree they are nice models though, albeit a little delicate around the sensors. I believe they have been strengthened a little fo...

Quote Great model... the paint job is hmm... a little uninspiring tho Stormseer, that was just a quick example painted by Tom to give a better idea of what the final model looked like. I rather thought he did a nice neat and clean job myself. Anyways, there are others being painted as you read this ...

Thanks Jimbo, I'm trying not to get too off track by working on too many armies at once. Some of the Forge World models however merit a separate article simply down to their often being a few features that can trap the unwary. As I know these models are often not an unsubstantial investment I think ...

Legion, I have just posted some tips on assembling the Tau Orca if thats any help to you. The Thunderbolt article I also posted a few weeks back and should be available from the what's New page included below. The Skyrays should be pretty straightforward.

What's new on Dropship Page
