Let us add some fuel to the flames of war. This little trio is my air support, in form of Detachment Kuhlmey . Coincidentally Kurt Kuhlmey tends to be better known in Finland than in Germany due to his unit giving much needed support to us in summer 1944. I know that in 3rd edition rules you only ne...

I decided to keep the glow effect as it is. And proceeded to paint the other two Shadowswords. Here they are. http://koti.phnet.fi/minde65/epic/Shadowswordit4_640.jpg http://koti.phnet.fi/minde65/epic/Shadowswordit5_640.jpg http://koti.phnet.fi/minde65/epic/Shadowswordit6_640.jpg The command tank ha...

Thank you. The camo is indeed hand painted. It takes quite long to do it, as I begin with a very dark green and dark reddish brown. On top of these is then painted dark green and medium brown. Finally some places are given the light brown color, but making these areas smaller than those two primary ...

So here is the artillery finally. Heavy 150mm howitzers bought from Germany after the Winter war. Historically realistic choice to support my jägers. I have already played two battles with these and the firepower makes it easy to blast dug in infantry. These are also a nasty surprise for any closing...

A little battlereport, we fought this 4th of June, so it's almost fresh baked. Battle of Portinhoikka Historical background During the summer of 1944, Soviet 21st army tries to fulfill it's orders to push through Karelian Isthmus. Viipuri and village of Tali have been lost to Soviets, and from Tali ...

Thank you for your comments. I have thought about getting artillery next. The mortars simply don't have enough punch in bigger games, and mortars and artillery together would offer me two chances to pin enemies down.

More super heavy tanks, actually only one though. But I have two more primed and waiting to receive my attention. This Shadowsword blasts enemy war engines to blazing wrecks from afar. http://koti.phnet.fi/minde65/epic/Shadowswordit1.jpg The glow effect on the volcano cannon looks better a little fa...

The second AT-gun platoon. I had this painted few days ago, but some other hurries kept me occupied again. Now I should have quite enough guns to prevent enemy tanks from roaming around the field. Four 75mm German-made guns are not something to be laughed at. http://koti.phnet.fi/minde65/fow/2PstKj_...

I don't know about any other sites, but generally people painting 6mm and the other small scales tend to be the older hobbyists, who have either much experience from the bigger scales or have started way back when the Space Marine was released. In both cases having easily a decade or more of paintin...

| Here's the basic airframe for the Punisher. http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae260/Spectrar_Ghost/DSCN0392.jpg Hello, what is the status of this heavy bomber project? | Oops, I forgot to post these pictures back in January when I got this painted. So here is the method of shipping my guardsmen to warzone, an Imperial Navy cruiser. It can also provide some support in form of orbital bombardments and lance strikes. http://koti.phnet.fi/minde65/epic/Pajari1.jpg Named ... |

Last time I mentioned my lack of anti-tank. Now these high quality German 75mm guns should cover it up nicely. I didn't bother buying that new box which comes with two guns and korpraali Ilomäki, since the German box just gave me more guns for a little higher price. This also serves as a good test o...

Hello again! This time I have fresh pictures of 2nd jäger platoon. As the first platoon, these too lack long range firepower, but are quite nasty up close. Being fearless veterans they also get close without too bad casualties if supported properly. http://koti.phnet.fi/minde65/fow/2Jj_1.jpg http://...

Fresh pictures from the front! The aforementioned tanks. Heavy tanks. Captured Soviet heavy tanks. These took quite some time, but slowly and steadily as these ones tend to go. As it was historically, the other captured KV had bolted additional armour, while the other had not. As far as I know, only...
