Hi; Another option, (though more toxic) is to rough carve your foam asteroids, then hit them with some spraypaint. The paint will eat away at the foam creating a pocked, cratered surface. Don't use too much spray, as it can eat away all the foam, and definitely do this outside! Once the ... |

Hi all; Yes - Quark is a layout program. I use it at work, which is convenient, as it is a $600 - 700 program, so I wouldn't be likely to have it on my home system! Though, I think the same effect could be achieved in Microsoft Publisher or Word... @Blackhorizon - Any chance that you liv... |

Hi DaCone2; The writing on the bases was done by typing the ship names against a starfield in quark, and then printing them in color. Then I used a spray adhesive to attach them to the bottoms of the bases, trim to shape, and they are done! The stars in the background are a starfield mat - I f... |
