New Death Guard formation. Devastators with Rhinos, a Command squad, and the first of 4 Predators.
White basecoat, brown ink wash, black ink wash in places, green shoulders and trims. Red accents. Black weapons. |

very effective, that;s worked really well. when you say black ink, what product specifically? thanks, I was pretty happy with how the scheme came out. The white with black trim looks sharp, and the red makes all the weapons pop. Happy with the contrast with the dirt bases. I'm using Reaper Paints. ... |

Well, I finally finished my first unit of EpicA minis. It's a Tactical Detachment with a Dreadnought, and two stands of characters (that were painted first as test minis because they're extra stands I have). They're going to be part of the mixed-legion force I am building. The next Tactical Detachme... |

Do what works for you ... But if you look close you'll be able to tell the difference. You could use thick paint on the faces to make them look like a "gas mask". However, note in the military ... you don't wear a Protective Mask all day. Only when there is a threat of chemicals in use. S... |

So, the Baccus 6mm infantry are super economical, with about 10 bucks CAD getting me 96 soldiers, will make it easy to fill out all those big Imperial Guard formations. But, here's my dilemma. I absolutely love the whole gasmask look like the Novan Winter Infantry, or, obviously, the Death Korps of ... |

Just trying to be helpful ... but the Gaia is my choice ... 8) the Gaia definitely looks the part. Love the giant bulldozer blade Got any size comparison photos? Or even just the dimensions, just so I can get an idea of how it compares to the other miniatures? I swear, it should be a rule that all ... |

All good choices guys ! But before you chop up those Land Raiders which as we all know are OOP ... sell or trade them. As we noted ... there are a number of other models available from various sources for your needs ... Also note Tom/EW/HLS has many of the original EW models at the casters ... so .... |

Yeah those Exodus Wars ones look pretty nice. Those would make pretty good Gorgons. Although I've considered just converting some from Land Raiders. I have a ton of Land Raiders that I somehow got for criminally cheap on eBay, I have around 24 of them. So I could just sacrifice a bunch of them to ch... |

So, I'm looking for sources to buy either affordable originals or affordable proxies for Thunderhawk Gunships, and Baneblades/Shadowswords/etc. I love the look of the Vanguard Miniatures Novan superheavies, and those are probably the leading option right now I guess, my only concern is that they are... |
